We’ll take care of all your Travel Money needs and make it easy to order your foreign currency and American Express Travellers Cheques. You’ll pay no commission* and we'll also buy back any of your leftover currency or travellers cheques free of charge.
- If you have a suitable Bank of Scotland or Halifax account, you can buy foreign currency and travellers cheques online or visit your nearest branch
- To pay using a debit or credit card, you can call Travelex on 0845 246 0006**
- Travel Money order and collection times:
Order by 3pm Monday - Thursday, collect next working day after 2pm.
Order after 3pm Monday - Thursday, collect 2nd working day after 2pm.
Order by 3pm Friday - collect the following Monday after 2pm.
Order after 3pm Friday and on Saturday and Sunday, collect the following Tuesday after 2pm. - Home delivery:
Orders placed before 3pm Monday - Friday will usually be delivered to your home address by 1pm the next bank working day (excluding Saturdays). Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will usually be delivered by 1pm the following Tuesday. All home deliveries are by Royal Mail Special Delivery. The home delivery service carries a £5 charge. Home delivery is not available for orders placed online.
*1% commission (minimum £3.00) applies to sterling travellers cheques.

**Our Travel Money service is provided by Travelex. Lines open weekdays 8am-10pm, weekends 10am-8pm. Minimum order £50. Cash advance fees may apply to credit cards. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions of your credit card provider.
International Cash Machine Restrictions
The banking industry is currently experiencing high levels of fraudulent activity from international cash machines. In order to protect our customers and ourselves we have increased our defence levels which may cause some disruption to service with your debit card in cash machines outside the UK. If you do have difficulties you can try to use a different cash machine. Using your card in shops, Bureaux de Change or at Bank Counter services overseas are unaffected.
We always advise our customers to have a range of currency options when travelling abroad and take a small amount of travellers cheques and notes.
