Banking in bad weather

Branches and cash machines

We are doing our best to make sure that we offer you the normal service in these adverse weather conditions.  The majority of our branches and cash machines have remained open as usual throughout this time. We look to continue to remain open wherever possible.

In addition, for those areas most severely impacted, this Saturday (9th January) we will be opening as many branches as possible, extending our opening hours and providing extra staff so we can make your visit as easy as possible.

If you can’t get to your branch, remember that you can keep in control of your money by using our Online and Telephone services.

Online Banking

The quick and easy way to control your money. Pay bills, check balances, transfer money between accounts, set up and cancel standing orders, view and cancel Direct Debits - our Online Banking service lets you run your account whenever and wherever you want. Telephone Banking

When you call our 24-hour telephone banking service on 08457 20 30 40, you can:

  • check your balance
  • listen to the details of recent transactions 
  • pay bills 
  • transfer money to other accounts or organisations 
  • set up or change standing orders 
  • cancel direct debits 
  • apply for an overdraft (except on Cardcash, Easycash and Expresscash accounts)
  • request a new PIN 
  • get information on other products and services

To start using the service, just call 08457 21 31 41. If you have an Easycash account, you will need to call 08458 50 55 25. Telephone banking is not currently available to Expresscash customers.
