Intermediary Mortgage Changes - updated 24 June 2009

As previously announced on the 9th June 2009 Bank of Scotland is changing the products and services it offers to intermediaries.

From 8pm on 1st July 2009, Financial Advisers and Brokers will not be able to place any new mortgage business with Bank of Scotland. Instead, we'll only be offering our wide range of new mortgage products directly to customers.

If your Financial Adviser has submitted a full mortgage application with us on or before 1st July, this will be progressed as normal by your adviser.

Financial Advisers will be able to continue placing new applications for Product Transfers and Further Advances until 8pm on 1st September 2009.

If your Financial Adviser has submitted a full Product Transfer or Further Advance application with us on or before 1st September, this will be progressed as normal by your adviser.

There's no change to your existing Bank of Scotland mortgage or other products and you'll still be able to service and manage your accounts with us directly.

If you have any questions about this change and what it means for you contact us directly on 0845 603 1136.  You can also speak to your Financial Adviser about this change.
